Norwegian Military procures RDT’s Tempus Pro
Remote Diagnostics Technologies (RDT) is delighted to report that in partnership with PHC Nordic, they have entered a contract with the NATO Support & Procurement Agency to provide Tempus Pro medical monitors for use by a NATO nation. Based on the terms of the contract which was placed under the NATO Logistics Stock Exchange the Tempus Pro and accessories will be provided to the customer.
The Norwegian Military have been using the Company’s Tempus Pro medical monitors for several years. Now, they are advancing their capabilities using products and services across RDT’s technological platform. Importantly, they will be taking a lead in utilising the sophisticated telemedicine functionality of the device to extract data from various locations, including battlefields, helicopters and remote environments and sharing the data with trusted medical support. Telemedicine is the new and cutting-edge element of military pre- hospital care and ensures that troops on the ground are diagnosed and cared for as fast as possible with the best equipment and technology in remote areas of the world.
New units will be rolled out across the Norwegian tri-services with plans for ongoing deployment, and development to aid interoperability between forces, both Norwegian and other NATO forces.
RDT’s relationship with the Norwegian Military has seen trials and evaluations of equipment that has been designed specifically for use in challenging and remote environments, settings in which Norwegian troops see themselves in every day. The ground-breaking technology is compact, easy to use and the reliable, allowing for high quality care to be administered in the most demanding conditions.
This contract win, joins several contracts secured by RDT with militaries around the world including the UK, US, Australia, Canada, Spain and others.
