Tempus IC Professional is a new concept in vital signs monitoring that, through numerous capabilities not available on any other patient monitor, can improve outcomes.
Man-packable, it is ground-breaking in size, weight, robustness, modularity, medical parameters and data collection and sharing capabilities from the field medic through to the CSH.
The core monitor delivers blood pressure, 3/5 lead ECG, SpO2, respiration, temperature and medical data and TCCC card/record of care sharing via USB. Optional capabilities include: 12-lead ECG Recording, ETCO2, ultrasound for FAST exam and video laryngoscope for intubations in austere operational environments1, as well as other communication methods.
Outcomes can be improved through the system’s powerful optional P2P data sharing capability that enables the automatic collection, population and electronic sharing of the vital signs and treatment record, including TCCC card, in real-time and/or post event throughout the echelons of care1. Optional integrated communications also enables additional medical support or a second opinion to be sought in real-time throughout the care system, making Tempus IC Professional a true force multiplier.
More than just a patient monitor, the flexible plug and play architecture design has been led by military user input. This unique modular approach enables feature sets to be selected for immediate but also future mission and user needs, with easy integration and field upgrade of developing technologies and applications so it can evolve to meet changing requirements.
Tempus IC technology is already helping save civilian lives and the US army has trialled and accepted the system with leading force groups. It is playing a key part in development projects involving the Telemedicine and Advanced Research Center (TATRC) and the US Joint Forces Command (JFCOM).
