RDT Restructures its Customer Service Operation

Effective May 1st 2007 Chris Hannan is appointed Operations Manager:

Christian Hannan has been appointed Operations Manager for Remote Diagnostic Technologies based in the UK. His appointment took effect on 1st May, 2007. 35-year-old Chris has been with RDT since 1999, working out of its UK headquarters in Basingstoke. Since joining he has headed up regulatory affairs. Prior to joining RDT he headed Notified Body and medical device certification operations for Intertek.

In this role Chris will be responsible for all aspects of service delivery to RDT’s commercial aviation, business aviation and maritime customers. The creation of this new role and department is in line with RDT’s philosophy of ensuring outstanding and consistent customer service to its customers.  RDT’s training, commissioning and implementation and network support functions will now report directly into Chris.

Chris will also be responsible for ensuring RDT’s unique Global Network Infrastructure and communications technology continues to provide market leading levels of communications reliability. This will allow our commercial aviation and business customers to continue avoiding unnecessary diversions and making the correct medical decisions. Thus saving money and providing maximum quality of care.

Chris Hannan said: “Within our markets today, it is crucial to effectively meet and exceed the needs of our customers in helping them better protect the health and safety of passengers, senior executives and employees when traveling, including being able to make better-informed decisions regarding what course of action to take should a remote medical incident occur. I look forward to this challenge.”

Graham Murphy, Managing Director, comments: “RDT has been providing high standards of customer service for a long time and we now want to consolidate our customer services operations under one grouping. This is a sign of our continued growth and it’s essential that we continue to focus highly on the customer service activities for which we’ve earned an outstanding reputation. Chris’ track record and experience in medical devices will allow us to not only continue to build our successful operations, but also prepare us for the expansion and growth that we expect in the next few years.”
