Global Medical Security

RDT offers a number of different Call Centre infrastructure solutions for
the reception of data and voice from its monitoring and communications
products. These vary from sophisticated multi-user installations for large partners such as MedAire to single-user solutions for customers who
want to provide their own land-based support.
RDT's Call Centre technology provides the Response Centre Operator with all the facilities they need to manage the data from
the remote location.
Real-Time Data
All data with the exception of 12- lead ECG traces and video images is received at the
response centre in real time. Full 12- lead ECG traces are received in as little as 120 seconds and video images in about 30 seconds.
The system allows the user or physician to see all the information from the Tempus in real-time.
In addition, the system presents to the user exactly what the Tempus is displaying at the remote location; this ensures the response centre always knows what is happening at the remote location. This aspect of the design, combined with the integrated voice link, enables the response centre to provide support and assistance to the remote user. This is essential to keep things simple for the remote user even during a stressful medical emergency.
How does the Response Centre Work?
The core to RDT's response centre infrastructure is a Global Network Operations Centre (NOC), co-located at a secure multi-redundant data centre in the UK. This data centre provides high levels of back-up and redundancy to ensure the system remains operational even in multiple fault condition scenarios.
The ability to flexibly combine and separate voice and data calls enables users to take full advantage of the co-located data centre while always being able to receive the voice call wherever the Response Centre is based.
The response centre enables real-time secure
data and voice communications with Tempus systems communicating over
any of the following communications links:
