How do ADR Modems work?
Physical Characteristics
The ADR Modem measures less than 30cm x 25cm x 6cm and weighs less than 1kg.
It is supplied by mains power (110-240V) and requires no active cooling.

Its small size means that it can be installed into almost any location with existing communications equipment. Once it is installed it requires no maintenance or other
user intervention.

ADR Module
The ADR Module is essentially a stand-alone modem that incorporates RDT's
ADR technology. The Module enables clients to reliably receive data calls made
using ADR technology over 2k4baud Aero Satcoms links such as Aero H, H+ and I.

This technology has been licensed to major avionics companies for use in
large scale aviation data transmission applications.

RDT has developed a stand alone ADR module for use in its own call centres and for use by customers it has licensed ADR technology to.

The ADR Modems are used in RDT's call centres and customer locations to support faster and reliable communications over Aero satcom links such as Aero H, H+ and I.
