9th December 2003, Abu Dhabi: At a press conference held at the Dubai Airshow today Royal Jet announced that it had added Tempus 2000 (manufactured by RDT Ltd), a unique device that allows
Royal Jet to offer complete peace of mind to its VIP customers. Representatives from RDT
and MedLink joined the Royal Jet management team to announce the partnership which is the first
in the Gulf region.

In the air, the crew is greatly assisted by the Tempus 2000, a technological miracle of advanced mobile care. Tempus 2000 offers remote monitoring technology allowing cabin crew to assist a passenger who becomes ill onboard. Tempus connects the Royal Jet flight with a MedLink Centre. MedLink allows all Royal Jet aircraft direct in-flight access to U.S. board-certified emergency physicians and specialists through the MedLink Service of MedAire. MedLink physicians in a hospital on the ground provide
real-time remote medical guidance and advice to aircraft throughout the world, managing approximately 60 in-flight medical emergencies a day.

Tempus 2000 can perform a wide range of patient monitoring, from non-invasive blood pressure and pulse oximetry to ECG, thermometry and capnometry, and transmits its findings to MedLink doctors on the ground, or even the patient's own doctor, wherever in the world he or she may be. The doctor decides of the case is critical and the flight needs to be diverted or instructs the cabin crew on what to do to make the patient more comfortable.

Royal Jet, fully equipped with this remote diagnostics and monitoring equipment, is able to eliminate stressful false alarm medical diversions and at the same time safeguard the health of all onboard, by providing the highest standard of medical care.

Anmar Balkar, Director Sales and Marketing Royal Jet added that Royal Jet is the first VIP charter operator in the region to equip aircraft with the Tempus 2000.
